Where can I get vegan dress shoes? Men's or women's, I do not care, but closed-toe and no heels. Thanks!

Payless.

Also Ether Shoe Warehouse on SE Division and 21st. Their shoe selection has gone down though.

For reals? They don't label them, do they? How do you know if they're actually vegan? Like the glues and everything, not just non-leather? I'm not good with brands but I might just have to google and write out a list ahead of time so I'll know what to look for.

I guess I don't worry about the glue that much, I'm happy with non-leather.

To be honest, I'm sorta done with nicer vegan shoes like the kind you can buy at mooshoes.com. They cost just as much as leather shoes but NO ONE will repair them. So I end up buying nicer leather shoes secondhand, or buying cheapo Payless-style shoes. I refuse to pay $100 or more for fake leather shoes anymore. If I invest that much in a pair of shoes they need to be repairable.

Zappos.com is online (duh) but shipping both ways is free and they have a tag for vegan shoes. I've bought shoes from them and wasn't sure if they were the right size, they sent me the other size I wanted to try for no charge as long as I sent back one of the pairs within a week and they had no signs of wear.
